AURYN BLEND
My original whisky decanter, kept as drawn and re-engineered for a 70 cl fill: fourteen twisted facets, 4 mm glass walls and a ground-glass stopper.
Original render01 — The project
AURYN BLENDThe original was a surface model: the glass was a 0.3 mm skin with no real wall, so it had no measured capacity.
The 2026 model keeps the drawn form and gives it real glass: 4 mm walls, an 8 mm base that follows the punt, a ground-glass stopper shank with a 1:10 taper, and the medallion seated on its facet. The label now reads Blended Malt Whisky · Product of Spain. The images on this page are the original renders and drawings; the figures describe the re-engineered model.

03 — Project status
CAD-developed concept- Stage
- CAD-developed conceptThe product modelled in CAD to the depth the page states — exterior, key interfaces and the checks listed. Not built or physically validated.
- What exists
- The original Rhino model, renders and drawings, and the 2026 re-engineered model with its measured capacity and wall checks.
- Physical evidence
- None.
- Not claimed
- A physical prototype or glass sample
- An airtight stopper seal: the ground-glass joint needs a glassmaker's check
- Images
- Original KeyShot renders of my Rhino model, re-graded for a photographic finish (tone, lens glow, grain) and cropped; original line drawings, re-inked for the page. The figures describe the 2026 re-engineered model.
